Designated
by the Beijing Intellectual Property Office and the Beijing Intellectual
Property Right Protection Association, CN-KnowHow undertook two
overseas Free To Operate (FTO) Analysis & Emergency Response for
CapitalBio Corporation and AIRSYS Refrigeration Engineering Technology
(Beijing)Co.Ltd. Having achieved all the pre-set targets after full data
searching analysis and in-depth infringement risk assessment, the two
projects successfully passed the expert evaluation review organized by
Beijing Intellectual Property Right Protection Association on 21 July
2011.
During the
evaluation interview, the evaluation committee composed of several
experts from organizations such as the Beijing Intellectual Property
Office and the Beijing Science & Technology University, raised
questions and discussed specific elements of the FTO analysis reports
with our experts, and acknowledged the achievements of our work after
reviewing the conclusion report of our experts. The evaluation committee
reached a unanimous conclusion that the implementation of the projects
are practical and that the projects were carried out meticulously. In
addition, the results of these projects are very valuable for the
exportation of the products of both client companies.
After the
inception of the Beijing Government's support project for overseas FTO
and emergency response of local companies in 2007, more than 30 projects
have been completed in key industries, in order to actively promote the
capabilities of local companies to prevent IP risks in the process of
"going abroad". CN-KnowHow has been responsible for most projects and
has been designated as IP service agency for the project four years in a
row. The achievements of our projects are also acknowledged and greatly
valued by our client companies. This year CN-KnowHow has once again
undertook several FTO Analysis Projects and successfully passed the
review, therefore providing strong legal grounds for our client
companies in their efforts to target and develop overseas markets.
