In the afternoon of 12 April 2011, Vice-President of National Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Ms. Zhang Rongming Visited CN-KnowHow. Member of the standing committee of CPPCC, and the Vice-president of central committee of China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA) Mr Wang Yongqing, Member of the Beijing standing committee of CPPCC Mr. Ren Xueliang, the Vice-director of Organization Department of CNDCA Mr.Bian Xiaojun and other political and party leaders in the 10 person group accompanied Ms Zhang for the visit.

During the visit, the president of CN-KnowHow Mr Xie Shunxing first presented an overview of the company before proceeding to introduce CN-KnowHow's achievements and professional groups. In addtion, Mr Xie stressed CN-KnowHow's aspiration to be more involved in social benefit services to further fulfil the enterprise's social responsibility.

After listening to the presentation, Ms Zhang asked questions in relation to CN-KnowHow's specific business operations with great interests, before delivering a 20 minutes speech. During the speech, Miss Zhang stressed the importance of intellectual property right protection. As an IP right agency, CN-KnowHow should continue to strengthen the communication and relationship with the relevant administrative organizations at both the state and local level, in addition to bring in more positive influence in terms of improving the IP right operational capabilities of the companies, regulating the industry standards and strengthening the national competitiveness. Miss Zhang also pointed out, IP right agency should utilize its own expertise to be more involved in the works on universal education of intellectual property right knowledge, raising the public's awareness of IP right, and training more professionals, etc,   which is the best way to fulfil the enterprise's social responsibility and provide social benefits. Finally, Ms Zhang expressed her wishes that CN-KnowHow will diversify its development strategy, bring in more inter-disciplinary talents, expand service fields and establish more domestic branch offices, in order to continue its contribution in the consistent development of IP right in China.

After the speech, Vice-president Mr Zhang added with the suggestions on how to provide social benefits and get more involved in the protection and legislation of IP right.

Vice presidents of CN-KnowHow Ms Duan Xiaoling and Ms Qu Weijun, Clients Service Director Ms Zhang Jing and Business Diretor Mr Wang Pengfei also attended the reception.
