On April 19, 2012, the China Industrialization Project Seminar of the Korean Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) was successfully hosted at the International Convention Center in Weihai Golden Bay Hotel. The seminar was organized by Weihai Science and Technology Bureau, the Public Service Platform of Capital Industrialization of Technology Achievements, together with the Korean Institute of Chemical Technology, and was hosted by CN-Sunway Technology Development Ltd., a member of the KnowHow IP group. Over 100 representatives from the Weihai Science and Technology Bureau at all levels and from public and private enterprises participated in the seminar.
During the seminar, our general manager assistant Ms. Zhang Jing, together with our senior patent attorney Ms. Zhang Qingmin, introduced in detail 5 technological projects to be transferred, including “Method for producing high-capacity metal-carbon cathode material out of petrochemical by-product” and “Method for dehydrating polyol”. They assisted the experts from the Korean Institute of Chemical Technology to carry out extensive communication and negotiation with the attending enterprises on issues such as international transfer of technology, industrialization cooperation, etc.

The seminar was a preliminary publication of the overseas technology transfer projects undertaken and managed by CN-Sunway. It provided a valuable opportunity for the enterprises to update and track information on high-tech projects, and boosted the sharing and processing of advanced technological resources of the chemical industry in Weihai.
